Cupro is a material derived from cotton. It is a valorization of the cotton linter (the seeds of the plant) which were until now a waste of the textile industry. From now on, they are used after a chemical treatment. It is therefore not a natural material, but the reuse of linter makes it a sustainable material. We like its fluidity and its velvety touch, very comfortable to wear.
How to care for your cupro pieces?
Stretch cupro garments (mixed with elastane) may tend to stretch a little when worn, but they will return to their original size after washing. Wash them at 30°C on a gentle cycle, without using bleach or a tumble dryer. You can air dry them and iron them if necessary. Dry cleaning is also allowed.
