Suede leather (or buck) is used for some of our accessories. It has a distinctive soft texture (it is actually leather that was slightly scrubbed to obtain a raw aspect) and 70's look.
How to care for your suede accessories?
Some of our accessories are made from suede leather, a material that doesn't like to be in contact with water. You'll need to waterproof your pieces before wearing them and to repeat the operation frequently. We recommend first brushing delicately the leather (with a soft brush or crepe brush) in order to remove any dust before applying the product.
If in spite of all these precautions, the suede gets wet, let it air dry. Never place it right next to a source of heat, or in the sun.
In case of stain, you can use a special suede eraser. They are slightly abrasive so we recommend gently rubbing the fabric.
Suede is notorious for bleeding, especially after the first few uses. We therefore recommend that you waterproof your accessories before using them, and avoid wearing them over light-coloured clothing.
